| Our aim is to foster Christian faith and Missionary formation of children and to help them take their responsibility in the church as missionaries.
Our main objective is to teach the Catholic faith to all children and to safeguard their rights promoting their well-being.
The PMC Motto: “Children Helping Children”
“LET THE CHILDREN COME; DO NOT PREVENT THEM FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD BELONGS TO SUCH AS THESE”
(Mk 10:14).
The children are supposed to engage with all the children of the whole world so as to enhance the missionary work of Jesus: to educate the universal love and save the children of the world. We welcome all children up to the age of 14 years and even those who are older to join PMC.
DUTIES OF PMC CHILDEN
- Prayer: prayer for the missionaries; at least recite: Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory be to the Father, to the Son and to the Holy Spirit every day.
- Offering: we practice the virtue of sacrifice for the poor children.
- Formation: we educate and practice works of charity of the universal Church and stimulate the children on the gift they have for helping the less fortunate children in our society.
- Information: we educate the children on how best to respond to the desires and and knowing the world, how to be open to the values of the other cultures and instill in them the capacity of seeing Human being with the eyes of love of Jesus.
- Sharing good things: we teach them how to share the things they receive from parents with others to enhance the Spirit of communion and love.
- Evangelization: we have the missionary magazine of which the children are called to read and spread their faith through writing their experiences at home, school and at their parishes.
MISSIONARY CHILDREN PRAYER
Lord Jesus, we pray that all children may come to know you and believe in your love for hem. Help us through kind words and good deeds to spread YOUR LOVE to the whole world Amen.
CONCLUSION AND MISSIONARY RULES
Our Church is missionary and all the baptized are called to be missionaries. We will have Christians who are convinced more of their missionary vocation if our children will have a firm Christian and missionary foundation.
- A missionary child knows Jesus, loves what Jesus tells him/her and is not ashamed to speak about Jesus.
- Recognizes and sees every human person as a brother and a sister.
- Prays to God the Father everyday for all children of the world.
- Missionary child says please to request and thanks when he/she receives from others.
- A missionary child is happy to give and grateful to receive from others.
- Is happy in the missionary work.
- Missionary child knows that human life is precious and sacred and should be respected.
- A missionary child knows how to make sacrifices even if it is hard.
- A missionary child uses decent language at all times.
- A missionary child looks for every way to do works of charity for others because their motto is: CHILDREN HELPING CHILDREN.
